Dogs versus Shadows presents Near Qaanaaq, a two-part sonic exploration deep within Camp Century, a former military scientific research base (near Qaanaaq, Greenland) which operated from from 1959 - 1967.
Declassified documents in 1996 confirmed that Camp Century was part of Project Iceworm, which existed to install a network of nuclear missile launch sites.The camp’s nuclear reactor was removed but hazardous waste remains. No nation has taken any responsibility for the clean-up operation…
